My name is Christopher and I discovered Kratom in 2015. Below, I wanted to share a little bit about my backstory, along with the founding principles of our company. I hope this will provide some insight into my passion for helping others through natural products, like Kratom, and that you will not hesitate to reach out with questions – or to share your story as well!
PERSONAL BACKGROUND
I was searching for many ways to maintain a functioning, less painful lifestyle. Kratom is one of the plants that I wish I would have known about years ago. Mitragyna Speciosa was still an unheard-of herb and there were few Kratom users that I knew about. I am a fan of red vein kratom personally.
Being prescribed opiates at an early age of eight was an issue for me (and my addictive personality). I had a severe alcohol problem by the time I was in my early twenties. Pain Medication and drinking Alcohol was not the best for pain relief and had side effects. Alcohol Abuse is a serious situation that need to be addressed.
I was prescribed medications including Demerol, Percocet and more to combat the pain. I had moderate to severe pain I was dealing with, and I just wanted My health-related quality of life back! Mixing alcohol and muscle relaxants or Opiates was my way of combating My Chronic and acute pain.
Heavy drinking and binge drinking lead to health problems, alcohol dependence and eventually alcohol withdrawal. I Stopped drinking heavy and made serious improvements in the short term.
At 36, I had a heart attack and had two stents placed. Talk to your doctor if you ever get a weird feeling. I would have never thought that I was having a heart attack at 36 years old while exercising.
Now, I am not stating that there is not a place for pharmaceutical pain treatment. I personally know that natural plants and dietary supplements can help us live a better quality of life. Some people need more than what nature can provide.
Kratom products do not replace severe pain management treatments. I know personally that strong pain management is necessary for some people. I would never say that Kratom or cannabis can replace pharmaceutical pain management.
However, my life has improved dramatically since alcohol and pain killers are no longer part of it. I do not plan on ever taking anything unnatural, besides an occasional Aleve, unless it is necessary for surgery. I can finally maintain my ability to get out of bed and function daily, because of Kratom and cannabis.
Our company was built in 2016 on the principles that quality tested products should be available to everyone. We have built out customer service to ensure any questions can be properly answered. Now, we have heard back from customers and have talked to kratom vendors over the past few years about quality, pricing, and testing issues within the industry.
We all agreed that price should reflect all the necessary requirements to process, package and hold Kratom products. This includes testing, packaging, Insurance, and everything else that goes along with a legitimate kratom business. We will always do what we can to cut costs, but we will never cut corners.
