Any Experience with Agmatine or DLPA?

Because I have been taking Kratom daily for close to 8 years now Kratom only lasts about 2 hours for me. Whenever I first started using it it would last around 3 hours & sometimes 4 with strains like Green Malay. My dose is only about 2 - 3 grams but I take it about couple of hours. I am using Agmatine & DLPA to Reduce my Tolerance at the Moment & in just a few days it is already working. Agmatine reduces Tolerance over time & DLPA Potentiates Kratom which means you don't have to use as much & also the Effects will be Stronger.
I am also using Phenibut to take for half a day to give my body a slight rest from Kratom. Anybody using Phenibut Please be very careful with this Supplement. Phenibut is no joke man. After taking it for just 3 days your Tolerance will build up & take it anymore than 3 days & you can become addicted to it & when you stop the Withdrawals are worse than any Opiate or Benzo. That's why I only take it for half a day & then take a 3 day break. I recommend Phenibut for when you are really Stressed out, really anxious or are Really Depressed. I can highly Recommend Agmatine Right now. I am still Experimenting with DLPA & will let everybody know.
Has anybody else had any Experience with any of these Supplements? What Doses do you Recommend with Agmatine DLPA or Phenibut? Any other Info will be helpful. I take Prozac everyday. Is it safe to take these Supplements with Prozac or is there a Possibility of Interaction?

I use 1 gram of agmatine on an empty stomach 3 times per day. It has pain relieving properties in my metabolism but does not help with the tolerance issue at all.
I'll be interested to hear about DLPA and phenibut conclusions you share here.

Thanks for sharing about your experience with agmatine. I figured I'm doing something wrong because it doesn't help reduce my tolerance in the least. Do you also get the pain relief from it that I'm noticing? I find it helpful for minor pain relief while waiting for kratom to fully kick in. You?

Thanks for the Info Laurie & LittleBelle. Welcome to the Forum LittleBelle. I do have some Experience with Phenibut. I have had some Withdrawals with it before. So I know what it can do & how bad it can be. I am only using it 3 times per day one day a week right now to take a break from Kratom. I will stop it all together if I have to up my Dosage any.
Thanks for the Warning LittleBelle. I am still experimenting with Agmatine & DLPA. So far so good. I am getting the Perfect dose down with each one. I have a Very Accurate Milligram Scale that I use to Measure it. I will keep you updated on how the Agmatine & DLPA Experimenting are coming along.

All the talk of tolerance lately has made me feel sad. 🙁 I think my tolerance has increased some. It's so hard not to keep dosing when you're in pain. Some day I'll order some akuamma seed. I wish I remembered to do that with my last order!
The agmatine sounds interesting. DLPA gave me a migraine... no thanks. I read that agmatine lowers dopamine which kinda makes me nervous. I also read accounts of it lessening the effects of kratom for some people. It seems everything with this funny plant is a blind experiment. *sigh*

It is, Jasmin. That's why I'm still in the forum going on 4 YEARS. Still LEARNING and thanking God there was SOMETHING that helps without ADDING problems to the situation.
I remember possibly similar results with DLPA, hence I've been there already. The agmatine was scary at first, but Joe (Re-Leaf LLC) and Gmantheman told me to try again and they were right. But it ALSO must be used on an empty stomach, which is why I got the akuamma seeds. For when I've eaten. But, dangit, they didn't make it into my emergency pouch of herbs for a workshop I'm attending downtown and I was running late, so got down here in shorts (looks like rain) with no akuamma seeds in my pockets 🙁
You're right, it's a mad scientist adventure EVERY DAY, but some days we are big winners, which was NOT the case for my pain before kratom.

I have a question about the agmatine. Do you have to take it before or with the kratom to help with tolerance, or can you take it at a different time of day. Has anyone gotten headaches from it? I wish I could find a small and cheap amount to try out because amino acids often give me headaches.

It's recommended you take it 30 minutes before kratom for desired effect. So of course I don't do that! LOL I take it WITH kratom and it definitely enhances the pain relief qualities of the kratom of choice that moment. Probably speeds up pain relief some, from what I can tell unscientifically speaking. Gmantheman knows about it and will hopefully chime in here 🙂

Still Experimenting with Agmatine & DLPA. I only have to take about 300 mg of Agmatine & 150 mg of DLPA to get good effects. The Agmatine seems to make me relaxed, increases the relaxing effects of Kratom & makes it last about twice as long but smooths out the effects. I think Agmatine would be a Great Sleep Aid. The DLPA seems to Potentiate the Kratom but can give some Dizziness if taken too big of a dosage. So Dosage is very important. I will keep you updated on anymore Changes if there are any.
One more thing I would like to add. I have been Squeezing a Lemon in my Water whenever I take my Kratom Dose each time. It Definitely Potentiates the Kratom & makes the effects come on faster. I tried Phenibut but I just don't get the effect that I would like to get from it. The Addiction & Withdrawal Potential are just too great for me to take.

The reason I asked about when to take it is that some people are talking about taking similar potentiators when they're doing a tolerance break or at night separate from kratom. So I'm wondering if it can help with tolerance (with those it works for) without using it to potentiate.
I'm still watching this thread if anyone else has experiences with agmatine. 🙂 It would be great if it helped with both kratom tolerance and nerve pain... or even just either or.

It's definitely worth a try for every kratom connoisseur, in my opinion. Helps me, though I can't exactly nail down the words to explain how. It helps. And it's very affordable since very little is needed each day.

Madmaxnightrider, I take DLPA 500 mg daily; and like you, I find that it potentiates kratom. The supplement I take is a 500 mg capsule, which was recommended by an M.D. From what I've read, the safest, most effective dose of DLPA is not known. But I've also read that no one should take more than 3 grams daily.
Regarding phenibut, I've taken 500 mgs (1/2 gram) daily. The max dose is 500 mgs. 3x/day. At the time, I found it helpful.
I learned of the dosage from a translated Russian medical article. It's been used clinically there for over 50 years.
Depression and generalized anxiety have always challenged me. Then, a few years back, I was diagnosed with
a degenerating neuromuscular condition, for which there is no cure. I don't talk about it much, because I believe thoughts and words carry their own power to manifest outcomes.
However, because of the way my life is changing; and especially due to a major set back, I recently went on Effexor and Ativan, which are helping me do a better job of coping at this time. My plan is to wean off these as soon as I'm in a "better place" mentally & emotionally. I still take kratom for pain & energy. Because of the effexor, I stopped taking phenibut, and I decided against agmatine, because of the possibility of serotonin syndrome, which can be fatal.
I continue to research natural alternatives so I can come up with a plan to implement post effexor and ativan. I need to check out other online forums that deal with these issues. Recently, I found neurotalk.org to be a good one that's moderated by professionals. The forum is high-quality, and very helpful for several medical conditions.

Welcome to the Forum Donut. Thanks very much for the Info that you have Provided me with. I am currently taking 500 mg of Agmatine 3 times daily with my Kratom. I have tried DLPA but it makes me feel weird & spaced out so I had to stop taking it. It could be interacting with another medicine that I am taking.
I have been on about at least a Dozen Depression Meds over the past 10 years & Finally found Prozac which works. Prozac keeps me from going back into deep depression & Kratom keeps me feeling like Life is worth living. I have been on Effexor & Ativan at one time. They are both good meds.

Hi Kitsune! Hope all is well with you. I’m using whatever vendor has the cheapest agmatine on Amazon. I’ve tried 2 brands from Amazon and no worries about product quality. However, it needs to be used on an empty stomach also, and it makes me get hungry. So I’m almost always canceling it and kratom out not long after using it. So I’m down to using only one gram in the morning only when I’m going for coffee and walking. No afternoon or evening dose needed. I put on 20 pounds in the last 6 months. No cool 🙁 It’s not all the agmatine. I’ve been craving the wrong foods and BUYING the wrong foods. So that’s under ‘change of management’ in addition to weaning off of unnecessary botanical (or not) substances. Cutting down on kratom, agmatine, Kava, kanna, all of it. Planning to have fewer bags of “stuff” I “need” as the new year approaches. Including ice cream! LOL
However, Joe at Re-Leaf LLC is carrying agmatine as part of his product line. He just recently added it to his portfolio of products. I would recommend you give his product a try for that EXTRA bit of safety and assurance with regard to safety and product purity. If I were planning to continue agmatine, he would be my resource. I’m pretty sure he has a better variety of sizes of bags to choose from compared to Amazon. But it’s not an expensive product ANYWAY, and I’ve had no problems whatsoever with product safety or purity.
DLPA didn’t do anything for me, but some people have sworn it helps them. Thankfully, I’m just not lacking in the area that it helps people I guess.

It was really odd! Cravings for foods I don’t approve of! Humiliating to buy them, and consume them! Mom used to eat it, so it was her fault I had that stuff around (lol), but even she has had ENOUGH. I’ll let you know how we do on our new program. We are a good TEAM!

I also pack the caps around in my purse and near the bed for bad pain relief when everything has been tried. I buy them capped so am not aware of the taste, but it’s costly. Your plan is much more conducive to my budget.
