What's new, what's good, or what's old and still good
I've been using kratom for a few years. It seems that it is hard for the vendors to continue getting reliable product. There are a few tried and true vendors but their strains don't stay the same. If you get a really good one and order a large amount the next time, it might not be the same. On a positive note, I have had good luck with getting replacements for the ones I didn't like. For example, Kratom One suggested a product in place of my usual which they were out of. I didn't like it and asked to return it and instead, they told me to keep it and sent me 8 ounces of another strain, which I did like...free of charge.
Are there any suggestions for vendors and kratom strains?
I Have always used Bikhuk The Source. I've made dozens of orders without 1 problem in 6 years. My last order took about a month to arrive but well worth it. But Luc at Bikhuk said there shipping has been slow as of late because of Customs. But usually an order will take about 2 weeks to arrive on average. I have gotten orders within 1 week before.
They have some of the best Green Malay out there for the Price. Since I have been a loyal customer for over 6 years they give me a lower price per kilo. Like they give me the 5kg price per kilo even if I just order 1 kilo.

Thanks for your reply. I ordered from them once, the product was good but it took several weeks and instead of delivering to my house, I got a notice from the post office saying it was going to be returned if I didn't pick it up by the next day. That never happened before and I don't want to have to pick it up every time.
I think part of the answer to your first question, Susu, is that Kratom is a natural product. (L) Think of the variations that could take place with regard to weather, amount of rainfall, time of harvest, even the amount of sunshine or nutrients in the soil that one tree could get as opposed to another, even in the immediate area.
If you can buy local produce where you live, think of the variations in what's available at different times of year. Then multiply those variations by factors that those of us in the U.S. don't even understand about growing conditions in Southeast Asia, and you can see how different varieties could vary in quality from time to time.
Mostly, I'm just happy that the vendors I've used CAN supply a relatively consistent product.

Wow, see this is why I just pay more for the pill form. So easy to take when I need to take a dose of Kratom, never wait for shipping. Let me ask guys, why is the powder form of Kratom so popular over the pill form. When I first started taking Kratom for my pain I started with powder and I just found it to be a hassle. Its just my opinion but I take it for pain, anxiety, fibromyalgia, and it just seems so much easier.
Take care everyone!
NO PAIN,NO ANXIETY,YES KRATOM!
I read often that people notice capsules take longer to affect them. This would make sense, considering that your body has to break down the capsules before it can begin to break down the Kratom. I prefer it over that nasty Kratom taste and texture though!
I also see users posting that it's less effective like ChromeDreams said below, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, considering that you're putting the exact same thing into your body, so where would those alkaloids go? I see it often though so some people find it to be true.
It must have to do with how much someone is bothered by the taste and some people can't handle the texture. It doesn't bother me much, so the idea of capping it up seems like a hassle. Cost is also an issue for me. Plus, I like the quick onset of toss and wash.
This is my suggestion:
I am supposed to keep batch numbers for each import. I think if you have a close relationship with your vendor, you should be able to get a fast reply, and I would ask "is this the same batch as last time?".
If they said no, ask if it's from the same vendor oversea, and then explain that the reason you're asking, is because of a concern for consistency in growing conditions.
If it's the same batch, you're golden. If it's not, you're not golden, but if it's from the same vendor oversea, you should still be okay unless you have a vendor who has a bad Kratom vendor oversea. If it's not...well...that's where issues such as these come into play.
This post does not imply consumption. I am referring to consistency only and I leave this broad. Just some advice from a vendor that will help you.
1. ) Is it the same batch?
If yes, you're golden. If not, go to step 2.
2.) Is it from the same vendor?
If yes, you should usually be okay. If not...well...that can be bad.
3.) It doesn't hurt to ask for batch codes either.
4.) Explain why you're asking for sensitive data. It may make the vendor paranoid. Explain that you're a previous customer. He can look you up and see that you're a-okay.
