Black tea
I realize that there are a number of potentiating herbs and chemicals out there that people use along with their kratom. Regarding non-kratom compounds, my experience suggests that what most people consider pontentiation is more of a synergistic effect, or not very significant. Kava and kratom is probably a combination that many people find effective, but I feel like that combination just perhaps augments things a bit, for example.
OK, so, I have recently noticed that after I do a good ol toss and wash, that following a minute or two later with a cup of hot, sweet, milky black tea, the kratom comes on faster, with greater sedation and analgesia. Could this just be because of the hot liquid? Maybe a compound in tea? It's just strange how pronounced the effect is. I have tried this with a few different strains, even say 9g of Malay one day followed with some room temperature water, and 6g of the same Malay the next, followed with a big cup of tea some minutes later, and achieve better results on day 2. Weird, huh? Also, I don't seem to get the same effect from coffee, but maybe that is because of acidity, or slightly higher caffeine content(I drink very strong tea, by the way). Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Interesting! I know grapefruit juice is a big potentiator for me. I'll try this tomorrow and see how it goes for myself. What do you put in your black tea? I'd like to experiment.
Milk and sugar...and twinings irish breakfast... Weird, huh? Nothing fancy

strange. I just tried it, no milk though. I didn't use twining either just basic black tea and I don't know if was just placebo or maybe me believing it would work but I did feel an increase in the mental clarity as well as focus. not too much on the pain relief but ill take it!
thanks for sharing! I will try this again tomorrow with a different strain.
Maybe the analgesic activity is also due to the fact I'm using green Malay. The caffeine from the tea dosent even really stimulate me that much... When the caffeine wears off, however, 5-6 hrs later, instead of a caffeine "crash," I get a pleasant sleepiness... Not a nod, just very comfortable but not fatigued at all. Actually, I feel more like the way I feel after a perfect nap than the way I usually feel before a nap

Very true. I used a Green Sunda and 4 grams of RV Thai mixed. tomorrow im gonna try it with an all RVMD and see what happens. I really appreciate it. Have you ever tried grapefruit juice? that is a good potentiator for me
Black tea is popular tea and healthy delicious drink. I like to drink for its health benefits. It can help lower the risk of stroke because of high levels of flavonoids.
