This past October I clean through a long term rehab and suboxone ( which I am still on ) I wanna get off the suboxone badly, I am just as strung out on this stuff as I was on the smack, idk what is the best kratom to buy for what I want t do and from who to buy it from. Please help just want to live a cleaner life without putting man made poisons in my body.
I Feel you BigKev.
I accidentally stumbled upon Kratom when looking for an opiate withdrawal solution. I tried everything out there but Nothing worked, that's until I found Kratom. It has been a blessing to say the least.
Glad to have you here.

Hi, BigKev:
Congratulations for getting off smack. I have heard that quitting suboxone is even harder, but kratom can help.
The basics you should know about kratom are these: Red Vein strains are good for pain control and relaxation; Green Vein strains are good for daytime pain control and energy, with less sedation; and White Vein strains are useful to take when you want even more energy and alertness. There are many different countries where each of these are grown, but that is less important than the color of the vein in the leaf.
It is ideal to wean yourself as much as possible from the suboxone before starting the kratom, because you will get more effect from the kratom. I've never been through opiate w/d, but you will need to purchase 2 or 3 strains to use, depending on what you are feeling.
If withdrawal is causing you pain, try a teaspoon of Red Borneo, perhaps mixed in V-8 juice and wait a half hour. If you need more pain relief take a little more. Many people like the Red Vein Maeng Da, which is the strongest and has both pain relief and mood enhancing characteristics.
I like to mix a White Vein strain with a Green Vein during the day and then use just a Green or Red Vein at night.
There are no firm rules with kratom. Each person must find which strains they like best, as well as how much they need to take. You will need to experiment, starting with small doses (depending on your size and the strength of the strain).
OnlineKratom has a good selection and good quality. The powdered kratom is usually the best value. The enhanced varieties cost more, but are stronger (these are the "Fusion" types that OnlineKratom sells). Click on the various names of the Fusion mixes to learn what they will do.
Hope this helps. For day-to-day support and information, there are several good kratom groups on Facebook: Kratom Association, Kratom(New & Current Users), and Free Kratom to Spread Awareness. The last group can take a long time to get a sample to you, just so you know. But each of these groups are good places to learn and meet others who have done what you want to do.
You're on the right track. Much success to you!

For opioid or opiate withdrawal, I definitely think any Red Vein variety would work. I'd go with Bali because it is the cheapest and just as good as other strains, if not better. If kratom becomes a daily thing for you, which normally isn't recommended, but it may be inevtiable since you're using it to treat withdrawal, it will be best to switch out strains often. Every strain, and plant, has different levels of each of the many alkaloids in kratom. This will help a lot with lowering tolerance. Hope that helps!
A dose in the morning and a dose in the evening will help you with the wd's. Red strains are more sedative and better for pain. I would mix around with strains and having the same strain over and over again will cause a tolerance... always switch around! good luck bro!
I'd say to go with reds. I don't think you're going to need anything stimulating for a while, and while I usually would advise somebody to start with one teaspoon, it's very likely you're going to need more than that. Bump it up a few grams at a time every 20 to 30 min. If you take too much it loses therapeutic effect, and can make you nauseous, so I wouldn't go too much over three teaspoons.
I know what you're going through and kratom can help, it can take the edge off, maybe help you to get some rest, and alleviate some of the pain. It's a miracle and it's not a miracle at the same time. I don't have to tell you how powerful opiate withdrawal can be, this isn't going to make you feel 100% but it can get you though something you otherwise may not be able to. Like Paul said, taper down as much as you can first, but when it's getting too hard, and you get that "throw in the towel" feeling, then incorporate some red vein kratom. I would suggest Red MD because it's usually stronger, but red bali or red borneo would be good also.
