Found my congressional rep. and contact info for DFW area. Planning a concise written plea.
Wow, still reeling from the news....

How can we find out who the representative for our state is? Lol, I hate politics.

Could anyone help me figure out who the representative for the state of Missouri is and the humber to call I am having trouble finding it, and I understand I need to tell them my story and the good about kratom but am I supposed to ask them about a demand letter?

Type into google what is my congressional district there will be a sight where you can type in your zip code then find out congressional rep for that district of Missouri

I googled "my congressional representative" with my zip and followed the web. Took 5 minutes. 🙂

I've been reading a lot of the posts throughout the day while stuck at work on my phone, I just don't remember my passwords for things besides what's stored on my PC hehe.

It's sad that a lot of people won't get involved, whether it is to sign an online petition or whatever. I hope the march at the White House goes well, I really wish I could make it. I really wish someone would organize a rally in NYC which is closer to me than my state capital.

I stopped by my local head-shop where I buy my vapor juices, they have been selling kratom in capsule form, powder/leaf forum, and they've got some Blue Dragon 2oz drink i just found out about today. Their prices have always been rather ridiculous for Kratom and they know it but sadly a lot of the customers have no idea about this forum or the wonderful vendors you can find here.

They are some cool people and it is a business so I can't blame them for doing what they do. They don't market it or advertise it in any way, they keep everything basically hidden behind the counter. Anyway, I spoke to the 1 guy there and he said he heard about the upcoming ban and seemed pretty upset regarding it. He specifically stated that his boss is just waiting for some piece of paper to arrive in the mail or however regarding the ban, and sadly when or if it comes then they will obviously comply... but until then all remains the same.

I grabbed myself one of the 2oz drinks for $20, it tastes like garbage I just had it... I honestly haven't had any kratom in awhile, I'm afraid to order any online as I feel people are just going to be flagged... so I understand certain people and their fears regarding contacting any government officials. The government can be nasty, especially regarding "drugs"... and who knows what they know about Kratom besides what the DEA tells them.

It sucks, if the whole thing about the pharmaceutical industry getting their hands on it and planning to pill it up and require prescriptions for it is true than I don't believe there is any way to stop the ban and the scheduling. It's such a shame, they can say it has "no medical value" yet contradict themselves and plan new drugs with the exact same plant.

Go to the American Kratom Association "Like" page on Facebook, not the closed group and you will find information about what to write and their email info. I'm sure you will be able to find your Missouri representatives, too.

Some people are worried about being flagged for ordering personally I don't think that is going to happen I think they are just going to ban it and let it fizzle out and since most states don't have laws against it I don't think the Feds are going to send agents all over to attack people who were otherwise normal a month before they could don't get me wrong but I feel the only ones they will go after are people still trying to sell it after the thirtyith today I got five people to sign the petition one being my elderly grandma she has seen how much this has helped me I feel like we might beat this everyone just stay positive

Makes perfect sense to me. Just like any business, the government is just assisting the pharmaceutical industry who probably already gave them a butt load of money/payoff (that we will never know who or where it went, or how much). Palms were greased, the wheels are in motion. The deal is done.

Just a shame... things like cigarettes and alcohol which are 100x more dangerous, cause more disease, deaths, and crime on a daily basis will always be legal, because the government controls them.. and most importantly profits off them with all the taxation. That is all they want to do, tax and profit.. they don't care about protecting anyone, they literally in fact putting hundreds, maybe thousands at great risk.. but that's okay as long as someone somewhere sits back and collects the dough. Look at all the crap they shove down peoples throats, you can't even turn on a television without 3 to 4 commercials for some nonsense medication, now biologicals, that have horrid side effects (which they actually list lmao). It's okay to treat certain issues, like toe fungus, even if the only side effects are nausea, uncontrollable diarrhea, thoughts of suicide, and so forth... because the AMA, DEA, FDA, and government say so!

I asked my Clash of Clans clan, a clan of about 40-50 guys to sign the petition, a lot of them said they would, I know 3-4 said they already have (whether they did IDK). I really hope there is only 1 petition out there, I could have been confused but I thought I saw two completely different numbers, unless I saw 90,000 a few days ago and now it is roughly 54,000... maybe I just saw 29,000.. my eyes could be playing tricks on me.

I posted a link on Facebook, unfortunately people are just hesitant to do anything when they see the words illegal, government, narcotics, or illegal. Not even sure the petition will help, but I'm going to float around a lot of the gaming forums and ask old buddies to sign it. You'd be suprised how gamers are bound together.

I have seen two different petitions the one I've been directing people to is the we the people one it had fifty thousand or so yesterday the other I saw had barely a thousand I've also noticed the aka fb page doesn't have many people following it

Hello, I have been working on my letter to send to political representatives. Just a couple quick questions/thoughts I thought you all might be able to help me with...

I thought it might make sense to wait till midday Tuesday to send emails so they don't get lost in all the emails they received over the long holiday weekend. Does that make sense or do we want them to be bombarded come Tuesday morning? (Or am I over thinking this?!?!)

What do you write in the subject line? Do I mention Kratom right in the subject line? Of course I want my letter to be read so what is the best way to make that happen?

I'm sorry I didn't do this last week, I was just so stunned.

I know we are all writing letters to many folks but some one mentioned getting the medical marijuana folks on board last night I sent the medical marijuana group a message on fb asking them to get the word out to there community about this petition I think if anyone has time they should reach out to these folks as well I have also been getting my cape shop buddies to sign

Ok so I came across an organization called the drug alliance policy they are the biggest organization for decriminalazation of thing like marijuana and stopping the war on drugs I think these folks could definitely help usi think we should call and give our testimonials to these folks and try to get them in the fight their DC office number is2026832030 I really think if enough of us bring this to their attention they will advocate us give them a call it couldn't hurt

OK so I noticed we got the petition to over 100 thousand today, it happened last night 🙂 so do I still need to be getting people to sign or is that all we needed?
