Q: What year did you begin?
A: We started in September, 2020
Q: What was the motivation for starting your company?
A: Over the past 18 years I have tried pretty much every vendors products. There are some great ones out there too. However, in early 2020, I began to notice quality start to go downhill and it appeared quantity was taking its place. I made several relationships with Indonesian farmers in the past 18 years and one in particular I really loved. I decided to see if I could supply a better quality of Kratom to myself and my close friends who enjoyed it. I reached out to the farmer, however, as luck would have it, he had retired. Many phone calls and video chats later, I talked him out of retirement with the exception that he would only supply my company. He sent me the items he currently had left over and it was as good as I remembered.
You see, I first tried this farmer 15 years ago. It was the strongest Kratom I had ever had in my life. Thankfully, the vendor I was buying it from introduced me to the farmer and we were friends since that day. The first batch launched The Kratom Family as a definite contender for highest quality Kratom as the reviews of our product speak for themselves. The motivation for starting this company came when I felt quality was lacking and I knew I could meet that need in the industry.
Q: What are your future plans for your company?
A: It’s pretty much the same as what I’m doing now. I focus highly on customer service and high quality, lab tested products. There’s a lot of bells and whistles that go in between those ideas, but the principles of the business will stay exactly as they are.
Q: What separates your company from others?
A: The customer can reach me directly. In my opinion, this is the best Kratom in the industry. Again, it doesn’t mean much coming from a vendor, because every vendor is going to say that. So I will say the thing that separates me from everyone else is that I’m not some ghost on the internet. If someone needs me, or has a question, they can always get in touch with me quickly. Another thing that separates us from other vendors is our experience. I have 18 years of experience with Kratom leaf and I don’t know too many people who have more than that (except for my cousin who’s had 20).
Q: What are your top 5 products and why?
A: Green Bliss, Green Elephant, Red Bali, White Lightning and Mountain Sunshine. All of these have the same thing in common, and it’s the reason why they are the top products – it is the unique drying process performed by the farmer along with creative blending techniques created by myself.
Q: What specials do you offer?
A: One thing I think about all the time, is the way new customers arrive and how to continue to keep consistent customers coming back. Not only is the high quality there, but we are always offering sales. Another fun thing we do for our customer base is a live stream show called Wade’s Wednesday. This is a weekly show that I have been doing for the past 5 years where the customer can win our products. It’s just a fun time where people can come hang out with each other and get to know the Family better.
Q: Tell us more about your customer service?
A: I was a customer for 17 years so customer service is high on my radar. The things that peeved me the most about purchasing Kratom from a vendor was how long they kept it before they sent. At TheKratomFamily.com, if you order before 2pm EST, your order goes out the same day. There’s no reason we can’t continue this positive form of customer service at all times. We offer several ways to get in touch with us, including phone, Facebook page messenger, and contacting me directly. We also have the “Super Awesome Group with Wade” on Facebook where the customer can reach us or one of our customer service agents immediately as well. Customer service needs to be swift, and it needs to always arrive at the end result – happiness.
Q: Are you cGMP certified?
A: I am currently a cGMP participant. This means the procedures and practices we perform, fall in line with what the American Kratom Association calls for to be a certified cGMP vendor. I have not received my cGMP certification yet. The cGMP process is a long one and I am working towards being certified by the AKA.
Q: Has your company received any awards or certifications?
A: None as of yet.
Q: Tell us more about your company?
A: We have scheduled a 3rd party audit with the AKA for further compliance. Scheduled for March for GMP so that’s in the works.
